It’s Tokyo Auto Salon time! But of course you already know that…
TAS is a unique event that every tuning fan in Japan wants to attend at least once. Of course, it’s easier said than done, but fear not. Everyone Along the wild rides that are Tokyo Auto Salon Week.
That’s what “Tokyo Auto Salon Week” means. The occasion will not only be held at the Makuhari Messe hall, but will also see gatherings and cruises in and out of town.
It’s been three years since I last attended TAS, so I was itching to be a part of this year’s prank. During that time, I was quite far from Tokyo and even further away from the convention center in Chiba.
So I did what any Tokyo Auto Salon visitor does and booked a hotel near the venue. I could have caught the train, but a road trip on Project Rough seemed like a much better idea. Long drives are also the perfect excuse to get your ER34 Skyline in top shape up front.
However, life got in the way and I knew it was time to leave for Tokyo.of course i didn’t Any preparation work.
Project Rough worked fine on the drive, including what felt like we were stuck in traffic for hours after a major building fire blocked a highway, so we had nothing to worry about.
Finally checked into my hotel. The smart thing to do would have been to get some rest before the early morning start at Tokyo Auto Salon 2023. speed hunting, So sleep was the last thing on my mind.
