I just can’t stand prosperity.
A week after picking it out, it’s back in the trash at week 17. Expert against the spread he was 6-9 in the pick, 10-5 in the straight and 2-3 in the best he bet. Part of the Pick-Six podcast.
That drops my record to 120-126-9 ATS, 159-95-1 straight, and 54-40-5 on my best bet. PS: The Panthers are one of my best bets. This is a bad loss, as Sam Darnold’s late fumble caused the spread loser.
Week 18 will be tough, but hopefully we can end the regular season on a little heater and carry over into the playoffs.

It’s an important game for both teams. The Bills are competing for the seed, but the Patriots could advance to the playoffs with a win. It’s not easy. The Bills were coming off a canceled game Monday night and had to deal with the mental pieces of a teammate who fell at Dummer Hamlin. But I expect the Bills to play well here and nearly end New England’s playoff chances.

The Vikings aren’t playing very well, but they still have 12 wins, and this one secures the second seed. The Bears had a lousy loss to the Lions last week. The Bears will play better here, but I think Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson will light them up.

The Bengals suspended play Monday night against the Bills, which could affect their preparations here, especially if they are awarded the AFC North crown. The Ravens will never have Lamar Jackson back. I think the Bengals will come out and brighten up the Ravens defense. Bengals win.

The Texans are playing for the first pick in the draft here, so they should be playing to lose. That’s just not the nature of this league. The Colts start Sam Ehrlinger at quarterback, but does that matter? The crime is terrible. However, they would play well enough to win Jeff Saturday’s final game as interim coach.

The Jets are eliminated and Miami must win to join New England waiting to lose. The Dolphins will almost certainly start Round 7 rookie Skyler Thompson at quarterback. That’s a tough call on a good Jets defense. Still, I think the Dolphins will have enough offense to beat a team with low motivation.

The Steelers still have an outside shot to make the playoffs, but they need help with a win here. The Browns have been road his game in a row, but hope to close out the season by beating out their rivals. I think so. An ugly game, but Cleveland would end Pittsburgh’s playoff chances.

The Eagles could secure the top seed with a win in this game. The Giants are locked in as the sixth seed, but coach Brian Dabor said he will play a starter. Some are fixed. Jaylen Hurts should be back on the Eagles’ offense. They need more games and they will get it.

If the Packers win, they will participate. It’s very easy. The Lions must win and Seattle must lose. The Packers earned this position on his four-game winning streak. The Lions have an impressive win against Chicago, but this is a big step towards completion. The Packers are playing well and will continue to do so here.
