Tickets for FARGO — One Million Thanksgiving, an annual program to celebrate entrepreneurs, innovators and technologists in the Fargo Moorhead community, are now on sale. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, January 26 at 7:00 pm at the Fargo Air Museum (1609 19th Ave. N.

The Emerging Prairie rewards individuals and organizations who have made a significant impact on the startup, innovation, and technology communities, and contributed to empowering them. The event will also feature appetizers, signature champagne toasts and live music.

YWCA seeks nominations for Women of the Year

Nominations have opened for the YWCA’s 50th Annual Women of the Year event, scheduled for April 24 at Delta Hotels by Marriott, 1635 42nd St. S., Fargo.

Since 1973, the YWCA has spotlighted excellence in local women and corporate leadership at this event. Proceeds from this evening support the YWCA Cass Clay mission and programs.

Nominations include Advocacy for Equality, Arts and Culture, Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Communication, Community and Volunteer Service, Education, Faith Communities, Health and Wellness, Lifetime Achievement, Science and Technology, Young Women Today and Tomorrow (15-Year-Old) from 22 years old), youth advocacy.

Additionally, there is a division to nominate local businesses that enable women to thrive professionally and financially, the Leader of the Women’s Empowerment Awards.
