Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment announced the opening of its first event space, The Lempicka by Jeff Ruby, in June.
A press release describes Lempicka as a one-of-a-kind space that “provides a lavish backdrop for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, fundraisers, business events and more.” The space can accommodate up to 200 guests.
Jeff Ruby, founder and chairman of Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment, said of the event space: It is named after Tamara de Lempicka, a major artist of the Art Deco movement.
“I have long admired the Art Deco style, and De Lempicka in particular, as both a unique talent and a groundbreaking innovator,” Ruby said in the release. You can see strong Art Deco influences with it, and it also appears in Jeff Ruby’s The Lempicka.”
The event space will be located in the former Jeff Ruby Steakhouse space at 700 Walnut Street. Exactly one week after the steakhouse moved to The Foundry near Fountain Square in October, he began renovating the space.
Britney Ruby Miller, CEO of Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment, said: “The Steakhouse relocation presents us with the perfect opportunity to renovate the space and bring to the market a unique event concept that combines Art Deco design, decor and our love of providing a great festive experience. They gave me.”
The Lempicka will offer customizable chef-led menus, both plate and buffet, for breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktail and dinner events. Ruby’s steaks, sushi displays and homemade desserts stand out.
