This battle of the band style contest features the past four winners of these music shows focused on local teens and youth. Their passion for music and helping others shines through each performance. The Jason R Flood Memorial was created as a way for the Flood family to connect with local youth and honor the memory of his son Jason. “Our mission is to increase awareness and ability to reach out when warning signs are recognized. These events were held to give Jason’s friends a chance to remember him while spreading the message “You Are Not Alone”. We invite talented participants to meet, share and discuss their passions. A short adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical, specially tailored for young actors. Based on Old Possum’s practical cat book by TS Eliot / CATS is set inside a larger-than-life junkyard playground and features Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks and more. A purring cat lives. and Grizabella. The Jellicle Cats come to play one special night in a year, the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell stories to amuse their wise and benevolent leader, the Old Deuteronomy. They must choose one of his cats to ascend to the Heavyside tier and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.
