Delta passengers will soon have free Wi-Fi on board.
According to the airline, travelers will see free wireless internet available on more than 500 Delta Air Lines planes on Feb. 1, flying the airline’s “most popular routes.” . The new service is offered in partnership with T-Mobile.
Delta raises 2023 guidance as travel stock rises
According to the company, the number of Delta aircraft offering free Wi-Fi will reach more than 700 by the end of the year. The airline plans to have it available on all aircraft by the end of 2024.

CEO Ed Bastian first announced the news at CES 2023 on Thursday.
“Whether at work, at home, or anywhere in between, connectivity is essential to everyday life, and Delta travel is no exception,” he said. Our goal was to provide a similar feel at 30,000 feet to what is available.”
Delta makes it harder and more expensive to get into airport lounges
To connect to free Wi-Fi, passengers traveling on planes equipped with it must log in with their SkyMiles number and password. According to Delta, planes with free Wi-Fi will have a “new sticker near the boarding gate.”
Customers will be able to connect simultaneously on multiple devices, according to the airline.
