The Pogues, featuring Kirsty MacColl’s “Fairytale of New York” (Warner Bros.), went 13-9 for her. Andy Williams’ “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of Year” (Sony Music) soars from 21 to 10.
LadBaby set a new chart record when the husband-and-wife duo’s fifth Christmas leader, “Food Aid” (BMG), dropped to number one last week. Donated charities plummeted in the second week, dropping to number 85.
Expect the charts to look completely different this Friday (January 6th) as Christmas songs are all the rage once a year.
Stormzy topped the charts for a non-Christmas-themed song. this is what i mean The ballad “Firebabe” (0207/Merky) is 10-5 and has the same peak position.
