
PGW Auto Glass LLC added two companies in 2022 instead of one. Following its acquisition of American Glass Distributors on December 23, 2022, the company acquired Auto Glass Direct (AGD) on December 30, 2022.

After a short transition period, Auto Glass Direct will be integrated into PGW’s automotive glass business and brands. AGD is “extremely excited” about PGW’s new team and family and looks forward to “an amazing 2023 for him.”
Founded in 2000 by Jay Parks with just $6,000 and two employees, Auto Glass Direct operates one distribution facility serving the Georgian market. Auto Glass Direct is an independent wholesaler of automotive aftermarket glass and consumables located in Norcross, Georgia.
“After more than 20 years of hard work and 20 amazing employees that made AGD what it is today, Jay felt like he did the best he could,” an AGD representative told glassBYTEs. “AGD has always had a good working relationship with PGW for over 20 years in business.
According to AGD, PGW will bring better computer systems, better 401k plans, health insurance, and more.
