Tom’s 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon line-up includes Turbo GR86, Supra Tourer

The Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS) is the first in a long list of motor shows to watch for the rest of the year. Coming soon this January, Tom’s Racing has already announced its line-up for its Makuhari Messe-based auto show, not to mention the Tom’s 2023 TAS booth featuring sports cars and, surprisingly, an imposing One of his sedans will be on display.

One of the highlights of Tom’s booth is the Century. This is a very formal 4-door, usually chauffeured, used to transport Japanese government officials. For TAS, Tom’s has outfitted the Century with his performance bits and subtle exterior additions like exposed tailpipes and BBS wheels.

Tom’s also features a widebody Toyota Supra. It comes with a series of upgrades to make it even faster. Apart from the uptuned BMW B58 engine, the turbo has been replaced with a high flow type. The updated performance is partnered with an aerodynamic body kit and rounded out by a specially developed exhaust system called Tom’s Barrel.

Also on display is the Tom’s Supra Touring, which has a refined chassis that emphasizes stability while driving.

Meanwhile, a turbocharged Toyota GR86 will also be highlighted by Tom’s Racing at the auto show. The forced intake engine’s output figures have not been released at this time, but it is dressed up with a wide body kit.

Toyota’s tuning specialists also cover the Japanese automaker’s plush side of specially tuned versions of the Lexus LC500 convertible and GS F. The latter from 2007, while the LC500 convertible includes a widebody kit, racing suspension, 21-inch aluminum wheelset, chassis braces and more.

The 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon is scheduled to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City from January 13th to 15th, 2023.
