Proposed Quickley store in Niagara town: Quicklee’s convenience store chain could expand to western New York.
Avon-based Quicklee’s Inc. is proposing to build a new gas station and convenience store in the town of Niagara at 6021 Porter Road between Military Road and the Niagara Falls city line. Near Aldi and Value Home Centers, just off the Porter and Packard Road exits from the Niagara Thruway.
This week, the Town of Niagara Planning Commission will evaluate plans by PEM LLC and Quicklee’s for a sign and environmental review.
Rockport’s Dollar General Store under review: Also this week in Niagara County, the Town of Lockport Planning Commission will review a proposal by the Broadway Group in Huntsville, Alabama for a new 10,640-square-foot Dollar General store at 4919 Sunset Drive on Upper Mountain Road.
