Paris Hilton Brings Back ‘Y2K Pop’ With Refreshed Version Of ‘Stars Are Blind’

Paris Hilton The singer is back and we alive for it! After teasing the ‘secret’ for days, Hilton released ‘Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version)’. This is a new version of her beloved 2006 single, released on Amazon Music.

For the new version of the song, Hilton recorded fresh vocals, worked with Fernando Garibay, who produced the original song 15 years earlier, and tapped Clint Gibbs to mix the project. This single is our first taste of ‘brand new music’ that’s ‘on the road’ in 2023.

“With the Year 2000 issue taking hold, Paris Hilton appears to be making music a key part of her plans for 2023,” read a press statement.

Hilton first teased the big announcement coming earlier this week, posting a TikTok with the caption, “Me when I have a secret to break the internet on 12/30.”

She followed up with the video the next day, seemingly confirming that the “secret” was new music. “New Year, New P”

Hilton has been DJing for several years, most recently playing a set for Spotify’s annual Wrapped event. Earlier this year, she performed with Christina Aguilera at her Pride concert in Los Angeles in June.the stars are blind“For the first time in years. (Hilton only performed the song at Britney Spears’ wedding and at the Grammys afterparty earlier this year.)

Aside from two one-minute songs from her Netflix series Cooking with ParisIn recent years, Hilton has only lent vocals on the EDM songs “I Blame You” with LODATO and “Melting” with Electric Polar Bears.

Led by ‘Stars Are Blind’, Hilton dropped her only album Paris 2006 included “Nothing in This World”, “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” and “Turn It Up”. She also dropped “Good Time” with Lil Wayne in 2013, “High Off My Love” with Birdman in 2014, and “I Need You” in 2018.
