Lexus India has once again unveiled its new RX range ahead of its scheduled debut at Auto Expo 2023 on 11 January 2023. The 5th generation RX, announced in June this year, is the company’s GA-K platform. Teaser images have revealed the headlamp and taillamp designs for the upcoming model.
Overall, the new Lexus RX is approximately 90kg lighter than the current model. Up front, there’s a new version of the brand’s signature spindle grille, and the swept-back headlamps on either side are smoother. The taillights have also been revised, with all elements blacked out by the F trim. New aluminum wheels are also offered.
The 2023 Lexus RX will be equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ADAS, a digital rearview mirror, wireless charging and a 360-degree camera.
Internationally, the upcoming Lexus RX is available with a variety of powertrain options to choose from. The model will be equipped with a powerful hybrid engine at launch. Stay tuned for all the details of the 2023 Auto Expo, live on January 11th.
