Tesla’s holiday software update is now officially rolling out to owners, featuring the much-anticipated arrival of Apple Music, improvements to Dog Mode, new features for the Christmas Light Show, and more.

As we reported last week, Tesla is adding Apple Music to its vehicles as part of its holiday software update. After being spotted in a Tesla unit on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum last month, it seemed to suggest the automaker would finally add the feature. Officially arrived.
“Stream over 100 million songs and 30,000 playlists ad-free. Listen to your entire library, discover new music, and tune in to live radio stations. To access Apple Music, open the Application Launcher Tap the Apple Music icon, scan the QR code with your mobile device, and log in with your Apple ID,” Tesla wrote in its release notes.
Improved dog mode
Are you wondering what your dog is doing in the car while you’re running errands in the store? New improvements to Dog Mode make this possible.

Dog mode is widely popular among owners because it allows pets to be kept in a safe environment in the car. The climate is set to the owner’s desired temperature and a big message is given to others that it is a comfortable car for animals to avoid confusion.

regular light show
Anyone who’s followed Tesla for a relatively long time knows about the Model X’s Transvelia Orchestra Light Show. Now, Tesla is taking this feature one step further with scheduled light shows and new longer custom shows.
“Watch an orchestra of multiple cars by scheduling light shows up to 10 minutes in advance or set them to start at the same time. Celebrate the New Year with the Auld Land Syne show or create a longer custom show.
Tesla Model Y in track mode
After numerous requests from owners to CEO Elon Musk, it looks like Tesla’s Track Mode will also be included in the holiday update.

In November, Musk confirmed that this feature will be added soon. Tesla owners waited years for the automaker to add a truck mode to the Model Y Performance.

Tesla has added several features in the Holiday Update listed below.
- climate control fan speed
- Select ‘LO’, ‘MED’ or ‘HI’ from the Fan Intensity Selector in the Air Conditioning pop-up to adjust the fan speed intensity while still in AUTO climate.
- myQ Connected Garage
- myQ Connected Garage Door Opener is now supported. Remotely monitor and control your garage door using your car’s touchscreen. To set it up,[コントロール]>[ロック]>[myQ Connected Garage]>[アカウントをリンク]and follow the instructions
- automatic turn signal
- Turn signals can now be deactivated automatically when a land change, fork, or merge is completed.[コントロール]>[ライト]>[自動方向指示器]Tap
- mahjong
- The relaxing tile matching game has been taken to the next level with a clean modern design, smooth animations and soothing sounds. Match identical tiles. A tile is playable if its left or right is open and not covered by another tile. Keep pairing tiles to clear the board and your mind!
- Call forwarding confirmation
- Active calls from mobile devices connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth now require confirmation before transferring audio to the vehicle.
- Contact search
- Search for contacts from connected Bluetooth devices. To access[アプリケーション ランチャー]>[電話]>[連絡先]>[検索]Tap the icon.
- media control
- Media controls are close to the driver for easy access. Swipe up to tap[最近のお気に入り]When[ソース]to access. Swipe left or right to access trip and tire pressure information as well.
- Emission test mode via mobile app
- Emission test mode is now available from the mobile app. Long press any quick control icon from the home screen and drag the “fart” icon to the top row.
- always a rainbow
- Allows the driving visualization to display Rainbow Road when the autopilot is active. To enable, tap Application Launcher > Toybox > Rainbow Road > Always Rainbows.
