As a voice actor and audio commentary narrator, Kelly Brennan has lent her voice to some of television’s biggest shows. And she does almost all of it at her Lititz home in her studio.
But on December 18th, she’ll be at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA. She was nominated for two Voice Her Art Her Awards, not for her work.
The Voice Arts Awards said, “Like the Oscars, Emmys and Tonys, works are entered in various categories, judged and scored by a panel of industry experts, and the top five in each category are nominated.” said the Voice Arts Awards. award website.
Brennan was nominated for Outstanding Audio Description Narrator for his work on HBO Max’s ‘Westworld’.
Audio descriptions are separate narration tracks that provide information about key visual elements of entertainment such as action sequence descriptions, physical comedy, jump scares, and more. This is a particularly useful feature for visually impaired people.
“I am honored and excited to be nominated in two categories this year,” Brennan wrote in an email. “Audio description means a lot to me because I can use my voice to help people who are blind or have low vision. Being able to serve is a gift, and I consider myself lucky.”

Brennan began working in the audio commentary field in June 2021 and has since completed over 77 different projects, including titles for Netflix, HBO Max and Disney+.
She was previously nominated for the 2018 Voice Art Award for her spoken word work Last Letter from the Holocaust.
