We certainly live in a fast-paced world where technology is ubiquitous and growing exponentially. Technology has brought great advancements to mankind and great distractions for all. In it we leave God out of the equation.

Covenant Christian Academy, a small Christian school in South Texas, has dreams and hopes of starting high school, and that dream is about to come true. After months of planning and considerable time of communion with God, they finally begin their first high school class at the Janet Wacker Distinguished Leadership High School at Covenant Christian Academy (CCA).
CCA is a private, non-denominational school that provides an excellent academic education with a distinctly Christian perspective. School leaders knew and felt that an upgrade to this school was long overdue.
How did Wackers arrive at this equation? CCA principal Milton Gonzales said Wackers is considering an academy for one of his grandchildren. They then attended an event where they were touched by one of the academy’s students, who was educated through her CCA-provided scholarship. Privately, Vackars offered to help the young woman continue her studies. Those close to Janet say she lights up when she’s around her young students, invests in them, and loves seeing them enjoy great opportunities.

In the first quarter of this year, Wackers attended the first post-pandemic CCA Gala. They are sponsoring a table, and Milton said that the Vackers were finally able to open a high school thanks to Covenant’s contributions to his Christian Academy.
Milton said: Then Janet Wacker came up to me and she said, ‘I didn’t expect you to say something like that, Milton,’ so I told her. Honor is given to those who deserve it. “
Speaking to Texas Border Business in Exclusivity, Milton said: As a channel of God’s grace, extend it to our schools so that we can start something bigger and bless more children in our communities. Always very humble about things. I think she blushed as I watched. She couldn’t say that she blushed, but certainly she was very humble about the remark. “
Vackers contributions directly benefit students. By the time she graduates from high school, the student has integrated a biblical worldview into all of her high school classes and has a separate Bible class for each of her four years at CCA.

CCA Mission Statement
Milton said, “The purpose of the Academy is to follow Proverbs 22:6 (KJV). – Train the child in the way it should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it“
“I hope this helps them formulate their beliefs about what they believe about the Bible, God and Christ, so that they can then go out and defend their faith against the world. It will be like that,” he added.
Coincidence or divine confirmation? The school’s mission statement has been Janet’s favorite Bible verse for many years.
Anyone could miss the message, but the Proverbs 22:6 verse served the purpose. It gave Wackers the opportunity to unite and fulfill the need for the Covenant Christian Academy to become a high school and create important opportunities for the future of young students.
The Wackers’ generosity touched Milton’s heart too, and he took a group of students to a BMW dealership to acknowledge Bob and Janet Wacker’s contributions and put smiles on their faces.
“Recognition is a small little bronze statue called a sower. A farmer sowing his fields. And from Matthew 28:19 (NIV) Jesus said to them, ‘Go therefore and disciple people of all nations.’ and baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
Milton said Bob and Janet Wacker have funded the school for five years. “They’ve already written the first check. They’ve allocated an annual amount to cover the salaries of the staff.”
The generosity of Bob and Janet Vackar helps us continue to uphold the CCA’s mission to equip learners with excellence, embrace the principles of the biblical worldview, and empower leaders of Christ’s servants. Helpful.
It is essential to mention that CCA, through the Association of International Christian Schools (ACSI) and COGNIA, is the only dual accredited program in the Upper Valley. Dual enrollment for college credits is essential for students to continue their higher education wherever they choose.
