According to multiple reports, Georgia Tech has hired a new offensive line coach.
Jeep Wade, currently App State’s offensive line coach, is reportedly set to become Georgia Tech’s next offensive line coach. JacketsOnline’s Russell Johnson was the first to break the news.
Wade has also spent considerable time in the Southeast over the past decade as offensive line coach at Georgia Southern, East Carolina, Middle Tennessee and Marshall, following a stint as UT Martin’s offensive coordinator/offensive line coach in 2018. I was.
This is the first new hire Keys made for the offense’s new staff after parting with offensive coordinator Chip Long and wide receiver coach Dell Alexander. Wade said he brought considerable experience to the Jackets staff and also indicated that Key would no longer be coaching his line offensively, but he is confident he will still spend a good deal of time with the group. I’m here.
Stay tuned for updates on the new recruits Key will soon hire as the first staff at Georgia Tech.
