
South Plains Food Bank recently announced the formation of senior leadership. New hires and promotions in recent years have completed the current line-up of leaders.
The Lubbock-based nonprofit’s senior leadership currently includes the following members:
Dina Jeffries – Chief Executive Officer – Dina joined Food Bank in 2020 and has over 30 years of experience in leading non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Executive Nonprofit Graduate School of Management and she has a true passion for service excellence.

Ranu Manik – Chief Financial Officer – Ranu has a Master of Science in Accounting and holds a CPA license. She has her 10 years of experience in the areas of financial statements and audit analysis. Ranu has a real flair for her best practices in accounting and her personal way of presenting budgets and numbers to others.

Jennifer Smith – Chief Operating Officer – Jennifer has been with the Food Bank for 17 years, overseeing warehouse operations and farm, orchard and youth leadership departments. Her extensive knowledge of organizational management benefits organizations in many ways.

chase head – Chief Development Officer – A recent addition to SPFB, Chase brings an enormous amount of talent to build relationships and secure funding for food bank operations. He also brings strategic and operational expertise to drive food banks to supply future food-insecure neighbors.
Dennis Rudd – Chief Community Impact Officer – Dennis has worked in food banks for 16 years and has over 25 years of experience in the social services sector. She oversees Community Resources Programs, Nutrition and Wellness Programs, Community Assistance Referral Engagement (CARE) Units, Senior Programs, Mobile She Pantry Programs, Agency Services Division, and Children’s Meal Programs. Dennis has a mission to alleviate hunger and help those in need close to his heart.

Ruby Real Sanchez – Chief Human Resources Officer – Ruby holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration/Human Resources Management and a Master’s degree in Human Services. She works tirelessly to enrich the work and life of food bank staff, their families and communities.
