Prescott High Sends FCCLA Members to Fall Leadership Conference in Nashville to Showcase Community Service Projects – SWARK Today

Members of the Prescott High Chapter of Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) attend the Arkansas Association Area V Fall Leadership Conference at Nashville High School on December 7, 2022. The chapter was recognized for its involvement in community service activities in line with the national and state themes “Better Together” and “Let’s Keep Arkansas Beautiful.”

The chapter participated in the following community activities: Nevada County Fair – Education Booth, Region V DeGray Lake Cleanup, Trick or Treat on Elm Street, Veterans Day Meals for Local Veterans. The FCCLA chapter also adopted Hamilton Haven House as a local beautification project this year.

Tavan Toliver won a bronze medal for participating in a local Student Take Action (STAR) event. Tavan participated in his oral speaking contest and gave his professional presentation titled “The Invisible Scars of Bullying”. He will compete in the state tournament in April.

Breanna Haddix has been appointed 2023-2024 Area V Community Service Vice President.
