Santa Claus is coming to the El Paso Zoo
As part of the Winterfest season, the El Paso Zoo welcomes Santa Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Photos can be taken from 11am to 2pm. There are also holiday arts and crafts and holiday music. Visitors can play in the snow and watch the animals open gifts as part of their daily enrichment.
Anthony, Texas, Christmas Light Parade
The Anthony, Texas Christmas Light Parade takes place on Fridays from 6-9pm. It begins on Wildcat Drive and continues from South Main Street to Franklin Street. Ends at Henry Miramontes Memorial Park, 101 Richard White Road.
“Drag Queen Christmas”
For the eighth year in a row, Murray & Peter will present “A Drag Queen Christmas” at the Plaza Theater on Saturday at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm. The organizer of the event is Nina West. Tickets ranging from $35 to $75 plus surcharges are available at Ticketmaster.com.
Frosty Tea & Dessert Party
Indulge your taste buds at the Frosty Tea & Dessert Party starting Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Jane & Jensen Nostalgia Shop at 2218 E. Mills Ave. Learn how to brew your own teas and make tea cocktails, enjoy a refreshing drink and stop at a cafe. Build a photobooth with Mr. Klaus, enjoy homemade ice cream and toppings in his bar, decadent desserts and teacakes, and see the gingerbread garden and greenhouse. The event is mostly free, with the exception of the in-store high tea from 2pm to 4pm. There is also a charge for a photo shoot with Mr. Claus.
3rd Art Space Holiday Market
Shop for the holiday season at Artspace El Paso Lofts Gallery, 601 N. Oregon St. at the 3rd Annual Artspace Holiday Market on Saturdays from 4-9pm. The market sells jewellery, digital artwork, photography, clothing, prints and paintings. Music and light refreshments will also be provided.
Meet and greet Grinchmas

Fundraising event “Deep in the Heart” screening
Second Chance Wildlife Rescue will present a special screening of “Deep in the Heart” narrated by Matthew McConaughey on Saturday at 11am at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at 250 Montesciro Blvd. Tickets are $15 and go towards supporting wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Don’t miss the ‘Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel’ tour
The ‘Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: An Exhibition’ self-guided tour runs through January 1 at Sunland Park Mall.
