At a gala dinner marking the conclusion of the 2022 Alliance of Her Academy, Ukrainian MP, Golos party leader and ALDE deputy leader Kira Rudyk, on behalf of the wider network of alumni and allies, said: Awarded by the Alliance of Alumni Advisory Board. Political Women’s Champion of the Year.
Now in its second year, the award is presented by the nine women who make up the Alumni Committee and recognizes individuals or groups who have made extraordinary efforts to promote women’s political leadership across Europe.
Each year we receive nominations from across the Alliance Of Her network, and this year we had many nominations for outstanding individuals working to advance women in politics across the African continent. Growing interest in the award reflects the increasing influence and influence of a liberal woman on politics across her ALDE member parties and across the continent.
But the jury ultimately decided to honor Rudik for representing her country and for her tireless work for liberalism in Europe and the world. They also appreciated how consistently she has influenced others as a woman politician, the devotion of her time and energy. To this cause, despite the enormous personal and professional challenges she faced with the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
The jury also noted that since February Rudik had initiated four major humanitarian projects to help diverse groups of people in Ukraine. Inspired by the ‘There Will Be Joy’ initiative to help women and girls who have been physically assaulted and the ‘Breadwinner’ project to support women entrepreneurs. These projects demonstrate her resilience and dedication to advancing women’s leadership and empowerment, even in times of crisis and severe trauma. Her philanthropic work helping orphans and the elderly demonstrated selflessness, empathy and compassion for those less fortunate.
It is further emphasized that Rudik’s openness to sharing her experience as a successful female leader, entrepreneur and politician at numerous national and international events has made her a true role model for the alumni alliance and current class. it was done.
For all these reasons, the Alliance Of Her Alumnae Advisory Board and the wider network of alumni and allies were proud to present the award to Rudik. adversity.
