
Firefighters at the scene said the flames ignited at least seven to nine cars stacked on top of each other.

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – A fire on Saturday morning caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage.
It happened just before 4am on December 3rd. The fire brigade was called after witnesses reported seeing flames in the Kelty Auto Parts area on Reese’s Avenue.
Firefighters from the Wallawall County No. 4 Fire Department and College Place Fire Department arrived at the scene and said the store was on fire.
Firefighters said seven to nine vehicles were on fire north of the building. They said the building was not in danger of fire, but there were stacks of other cars near the flames.
Twenty-five firefighters helped extinguish the fire and contain the scene, and said the fire was under control within two hours.
Firefighters remained on site until 10:00 a.m. to put out the hotspot.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still unknown. Damage is estimated at $500,000.
