
GE Profile Smart Mixer with Auto Sense is now available in the US. The gadget has a built-in scale that you can use to measure your ingredients, thus saving you washing up. Auto-Sense technology uses a torque sensor to detect changes in mixture viscosity and optimize the process. This feature works in tandem with the SmartHQ app, which lets you choose from guided recipes and provides a step-by-step breakdown of your method. An integrated display on the front of the device shows mixer speed, timers, ingredient weights, and more. Information is displayed.
The Profile Smart Mixer has a status notification light ring to indicate job progress, and the mixer automatically turns off when the timer expires or the gadget overheats. Additionally, you can control your smart mixer with voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. GE has hinted at providing his OTA updates via Profile Connect+ to enhance the device and offer new recipes. The gadget comes with a stainless steel bowl, beater, whisk, dough hook and plastic shield. The intelligent device measures 11.3 x 14.0 x 17.1 inches (~287 x 356 x 434 mm) and has a capacity of 7.0 qt (~6.6 L).
The GE Profile Smart Mixer with Auto Sense is available for pre-order in the US at Crate and Barrel for US$999.95. Gadgets are available in black, silver, or white. The black model he expects to ship in mid-December, but his other two versions won’t ship until February.
