Dr. Daniel Ryan
The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is delighted to recognize 2022 Women’s Leadership Award recipient Dr. Danielle Ryan of LCCC. This year’s winners are no strangers to our community. She has an enduring community reputation for her support and business success, demonstrating the true meaning of the Women’s Leadership Awards. Not a day goes by without seeing her demonstrate how women leaders have a powerful footprint in business, civic and community engagement.
Most recently, she was elected to represent over 100 faculty members on the University Council. She is also a member of Pathway Her Governance Her Council. She is co-chair of the Institution Review Board, and she also serves on the boards of the United Way of Laramie County, Cheyenne’s Chapter Z PEO, and the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative. Her past chairmanship roles include the 2019 Pink Ribbon Run and the Cheyenne Capital Chorale.
She also participates in the Starbase Foundation to promote STEM opportunities. Her research focuses, among other projects, on keeping women and minorities in her STEM. She has published several articles in influential academic journals, including more than a dozen of her articles in peer-reviewed journals. Her research has been published nationally and her research has generated funding from prestigious grants.
