In the event of a health problem, emergency responders can access the iPhone Health app even when the phone is locked. Add details such as your or your loved one’s name, age, medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contact information to give first responders more information.
How to set up emergency settings on iPhone

After completing the Health details section, set up your Medical ID.
- Open the iPhone Health app and tap your profile picture.
- Select Medical ID > Start or Edit. Enter your health information.

How to set up emergency settings on Android
If you or someone you love has an Android smartphone, follow these steps. The steps are different depending on the phone you’re using.

- Select Medical Information to enter details such as name, blood type, allergies, and medications.
- At the bottom of the screen, toggle this setting on. You can view this information without unlocking your device to help in an emergency.
Finally, set up your emergency contacts. Just go to Safety & Emergency settings > Emergency contacts > Add contact.
Here are some ways to share medical information on Android in an emergency.
2. Always have a backup
If your phone is stolen or broken, you or your loved ones can lose everything in an instant. That’s why automatic backups are so important.

To enable iCloud data backup on your iPhone:

3. Silence unknown callers
We hear from people who want to help their parents and grandparents who have been scammed. Scammers are smarter than ever, and once you’ve caught someone on the phone, it’s easier than you might think to get them to hand over your personal information or money.
This tip will save your relatives the headache of dealing with spam. Note: Silencing unknown callers means you may miss legitimate calls. In my experience, real people who need to contact you leave voicemails.
To silence unknown callers on your iPhone:
- [設定]>[電話]>[不明な発信者を黙らせる]Go to.
- Slide the toggle next to Silence Unknown Callers.
Now your phone won’t ring when you get a call from an unknown number. Be muted, sent to voicemail, or appear in your recent list. Incoming calls from familiar numbers will ring normally.
You can also hide the text from unknown reminders. Method is as follows.
