Singer Lee Seung Gi has informed Hook Entertainment that his exclusive contract has been terminated after admitting that he did not pay him enough of his earnings.

Last month, the singer demanded full disclosure of his payment records from his agency Hook Entertainment. , claims to have received no payment for digital streams or downloads of his songs.

In an official legal document sent to Hook last month, Lee demanded Hook disclose financial records for 27 albums and 137 song cuts.

Hook Entertainment initially denied allegations that it withheld payment to Lee, but industry insiders said the agency sent a response to Lee’s document stating that Lee would not be allowed to stream his song. and acknowledged that I had not been properly paid. In response, Lee declared Hooke’s exclusive contract null and void because he violated the terms of the contract.

Hook Entertainment CEO Kwon Jin Young is currently facing charges of embezzlement and misuse of the company’s credit card. Kwon made no mention of the embezzlement allegations in an official statement on Wednesday.

She wrote, “I am responsible for all controversies regarding Lee Seung Gi.” “I will not shirk responsibility and will use my personal funds to resolve the issue.”

The agency is currently under police investigation and was the subject of a search and seizure on November 10. The charges have not yet been made public.
