For the first time in nearly two weeks, Bears quarterback Justin Fields was fully present at practice as Chicago prepared for Sunday’s game against the Packers. Fields, who was in limited attendance all Wednesday and last week, missed Sunday’s game against the Jets after suffering a shoulder injury in Chicago’s game against Atlanta in Week 11.

Earlier this week, Fields told the media he felt better than he did a week ago. He said it would decide whether

After a disappointing season for the Bears, who are 3-8, Fields has indicated he could be the 11th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The former Ohio standout player has thrown 13 touchdowns against eight interceptions this season. He’s making more passes than he did as a rookie, making at least 63% of his passes this season.

Fields was prolific as far as running the ball was concerned. He tallied 834 yards and his seven touchdowns this season, averaging 6.8 yards per carry. His 178 yards in Week 9 against Miami was the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a regular season game in NFL history. Fields is 166 yards short of becoming the only quarterback in league history to run for 1,000 yards in a season, trailing Michael Vick and Lamar Jackson.

There’s no playoff implications for Sunday’s game, but something is at stake for both the Bears and Packers. The winner of Sunday’s game will grab the most regular-season victories in NFL history, according to the CBS Sports Research Team. The team is currently tied for 786 wins.
