RVA Park Manager Orcun Turkay took NBC12 on a tour of the new facility ahead of the grand opening.

“It means a lot,” Turk said. “The past two years have been tough working on this project.”

The $8 million project includes a 60-foot main bar, 18 duckpin bowling lanes, a virtual golf bay, mini golf, an indoor beer garden and a food hall.

Turk said the space will have live music and a DJ. There is also a 247-seat auditorium, which will be used for a comedy club and meeting space, Turkey said.

“There’s definitely something for everyone,” Turkai said.

The vision for this multi-million project was formulated two years ago.

“After COVID this place was emptied because it was a call center. I’ve been there,” Turkay told NBC12.

Turkey said it was grateful that space ideas became a reality

“We are able to deploy nearly 100 employees and hopefully we will be able to deploy more in the future,” he said. “It was a blessing for us.”

“We’re lucky to be in that area where the city has a lot of plans, and we’re excited to see the entire Diamond District come together in the next few years, so let’s talk about that. I’m very excited,” he said.
