

During the week of the Thanksgiving holiday, the roads were so busy that it seemed like the peak of the summer season on the area’s beaches. We will continue to host music and comedy events through May.
In coastal Sussex County, the Lewes District concert venue and Cedar Grove Room eatery continue to draw performers from far and wide. Former America’s Got Talent contestant Camille K will be in the lead role ($25) on Sunday, December 4 at 5:30 PM.
The young Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter’s song “I Believe In Miracles” will be featured in the movie “Once Upon a Philadelphia Christmas.” Her mix of rock, pop and R&B helped her band Yes prog her rock legend Jon Anderson opening her act several gigs.
Ocean City’s Waves Bar & Grill (located inside the Paradise Plaza Inn) is hosting a special comedy night event on Tuesday, December 6 at 8 PM ($15). Host Stevie Jay introduces headliner Tyler Dark and featured comedian Danielle McFarland Jr. Music is provided by DJ Magellan.
The music line-up for one of Delmarva’s biggest annual holiday events, scheduled for later this month at The OC, has been announced. The 2022 edition of the Ocean 98 Listener & Seacrets Customer Appreciation Christmas Party will be held on Friday, December 16th from 5pm to 10pm. Main includes acoustic music at his bar and a full band at Seacrets’ Morley Hall nightclub.

The schedule includes a set by DJ Magellan at 5pm. Rogue Citizens (5:30 PM); Brandon Hardesty of Bumpin’ Uglys (6:30 PM); Funk Shoe (6:45pm); Higher Education (8pm); and Ballyhoo’s Howi Spangler (8:15pm). As always, admission is free, but guests are asked to bring unwrapped toys to donate to the Toys For Tots charity this holiday season.
In the near future, Seacrets will host its annual Holiday Bazaar on Friday, December 2nd from 6-10pm ($10). This is a more low-key event, as local retailers sell merchandise such as clothing, art, jewelry, and holiday decorations.
The Milton Theater is busier than ever, and a “Low Ticket Alert” has been issued for a concert featuring American Rogues on Sunday, December 4 at 8:00 PM ($30). His annual Celtic rock tour in Milton has a loyal local following. Tickets for Holiday’s tribute show “Close to You: A Carpenters Christmas,” set to take place on Wednesday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m., are starting to sell fast ($30).
