Pets Are Loving Support, Inc. (PALS) — an Atlanta nonprofit that helps low-income citizens living with disabilities, critical illnesses, and the elderly take care of pets — takes leadership for the first time announced that Legacy Awards this November.

The first awards were launched by PALS to recognize individuals who have contributed significant time and effort to their organization and made a positive impact on nonprofit organizations.

According to PALS, the first-ever award will go to longtime supporter, former board chairman and local philanthropist David Lile.

PALS Chairman Steve Parker said choosing Lyle as the recipient of the award was a clear decision.

“The selection of this first-ever award was clear to our board of directors,” said Parker. “David Lyle has been a valued member of PALS for many years, with a strong financial, reputational and social record. Compassion is tremendous. We are so proud and grateful for Dave.”

PALS presents the Leadership Legacy Award at the 4th Annual Fur Ball Masquerade event, which raises funds to support the nonprofit’s ongoing mission and services.

The theme of this year’s event is “The Wizard of Oz”. Attendees of the event are encouraged to dress festively. You can also wear a free masquerade mask.

According to PALS, the fundraising event will feature live entertainment, a premium open bar, dancing, a silent auction and more.

The Fur Ball Masquerade will be held on November 12th at the 26th Floor of the Buckhead Club.
