Sky 5 showed dozens of firefighters and first responders around what appeared to be a giant scrap metal shredder machine at a recycler called Scrap-It Inc. at 431 Second Street.
An employee working near the scrap shredder was reportedly caught in the machine around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. First responders spent hours trying to free the men from the machine.
Video of the scene shows a technical rescue team from the Boston Fire Department and a large group of firefighters and paramedics, including doctors in protective clothing and surgical instruments, all freeing workers from the machine. I could see him working for me.
