Deadline for small business loans looms in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) — Private nonprofits in 13 Tennessee counties have just a few weeks left to apply for federal economic damage disaster loans for losses from last December’s storms and tornadoes.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, eligible counties are Cheatham, Davidson, Decatur, Dixon, Dyer, Gibson, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Ovion, Stewart, Sumner, and Weekly.

The deadline for submissions is November 3rd.

Eligible organizations include food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools, and universities.

Loans are to help qualifying non-essential private nonprofits meet their working capital needs. Assistance is available regardless of whether or not your organization has suffered property damage.
