
It may have been an eventful weekend with college football across the country, but it was mostly business as usual in the Big Ten. The Big Ten West race continues with some interesting turns as Nebraska rises from the dead and is in the midst of a division hunt.
In the East, however, the top two teams in the conference met for the first time this season and won comfortably. However, his two teams in the division lost at home to Western opponents.

Indiana played halftime with Michigan, but the Hoosiers were blanked at home by Michigan after halftime as the Wolverines took a 21-point victory over Bloomington. Purdue and Maryland went back and forth in a battle between two of the Big Ten’s top passers. Maryland’s Taulia Tagovailoa scored his three touchdown passes and 315 yards, while Purdue’s Aidan O’Connell scored his two touchdown passes and his 360 yards. Purdue found a way to win despite three turnovers.

Wisconsin 42. Northwestern 7

Iowa’s offensive woes continued on the road with a defensive slagfest against Illinois. Iowa managed 22 total yards of offense and was unable to capitalize on three Illini turnovers, and Illinois running back Chase Brown will continue to lead Big His Ten in rushing yards this season.
