Jefferson, Missouri (October 8, 2022) – A 61-year-old woman was injured in a reported car accident in Jefferson County Thursday afternoon. On October 6, emergency services were notified that a collision had occurred on Missouri Route 21 and assistance was needed.
According to local law enforcement, a traffic accident occurred just south of Liberty Ridge Road on Missouri Route 21 at approximately 3:12 p.m. between a 2004 Lincoln MKZ and a 2016 Hyundai Accent. The two vehicles involved were moderately damaged and had to be towed from the scene by a local towing company.
Teresa Benton, 61, a Hyundai driver from De Soto, Missouri, was injured as a result of the crash. She was taken by Benton Val’s ambulance to South Mercy Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.
