Brian Moore criticizes Leandro Higo as ‘unfinished business’

Brian Moore knows exactly what he wants next.

The Bellator bantamweight is looking to step up to the competition and revisit a failed booking following its recent win. Moore (MMA 15-9, BMMA 6-5) returned to the cage last Friday, defeating Aribald his Silva by unanimous decision at his Bellator 285 in Dublin.

And now, with his momentum back, Moore hopes to face former Bellator title challenger Leandro Higo.

“Me and Leandro were going to fight in Italy a while ago,” Moore told reporters at the Bellator 285 post-match press conference. I really respect my “pitbull” brother, but he doesn’t. So I take him. ”

he added later.

“It’s an unfinished business. I was going to fight him in Italy and he didn’t get a visa, but I still want to knock him out.”

Moore beat Silva to record two straight losses. He feels ready to hang out with the best players despite his past setbacks in promotion.

“It was dominant from start to finish,” Moore said of the win. “I was trying to finish, but he was so tough, he was hitting his jaw. He was unpredictable, had a good guard and really good takedowns.

“So I had to choose my shot, but I was blown away from start to finish. This is the first time I’ve played in a sport, so let’s see what happens.I’m ready to step up in the next competition.”
