“No matter your age, you can always find a way to play a leadership role,” Brad Stevens said in a clip recently shared on CoachTube’s Twitter account. “Are you just showing a positive attitude or are you just rooting for someone?”
Few people know the words that came out of the mouth of the man who is now in charge as the Boston Celtics’ president of basketball operations. However, some may be surprised to learn that Stevens was part of the speech when he was still playing at his alma mater, DePauw University.
Clearly, the former Butler and Celtics head coach was really into that leadership business, as NBA Commissioner is the only one left for the former Depot player to be promoted at his current job.

We don’t think he’ll consider such a move anytime soon, but in the meantime check out the speech captured in the clip above.
